Fire & Explosion Risk Analysis

A Fire and Explosion Risk Analysis (FERA) is a type of risk analysis applied only to fires and explosions.  This analysis can be used by existing installation as a possible approach to the assessment required for the prevention of fires and explosions, and the adequacy of emergency response systems during combined operations.

Our methodology consists of:

  • Identification of events which could cause major fires or explosions.
  • Analysis of frequencies based on generic fire and hydrocarbon leak data.
  • Modelling of event consequences, in terms of fire size, explosion damage and subsequent escalation.
  • Selection of suitable means of preventing, detecting, controlling, and mitigating such events.

We offer a wealth of experience and aim to assist our clients in providing the necessary demonstration in the most cost effective manner.
